Inscription. Leon DeVoe "Voe" and Kate Harmon built this home in 1908 on family land that was purchased in 1876 and would later become known as the Harmon Plat.

L.D. "Voe" was a mill superintendent, Panama City town councilman, and a licensed real estate broker. "Voe" and Katie helped build local schools and churches and worked to foster the growth of a brand new Panama City.

This lovely house has been home to many families for more than 100 years, one notable occupant being "The St. Andrews Bay Conservatory of Music and Oratory" in 1929. At the time of construction, the house faced directly out to the bay where grand sunsets and views of major ships coming in and out of the area were the "old" scenes from the porches.
