Inscription. On November 16, 1936, Fred Moon of Moon Jewelry moved into this recently constructed building, owned by A.H. Brake at 424 Harrison Avenue. He was reputed in the 1930's to be the only certified watchmaker in town.

In 1943, Cecil M. Williams is known to have owned the business, and in 1946, Arthur "Bud" Titus, an early employee of Moon, purchased the company. The 1943 City Directory lists their business as selling "Diamonds, Jewelry, Watches, Gifts, Watch Repairing".

After Titus moved to another location in 1966, the building was occupied by several businesses but more recently by Harold Deese's Fire Engineering Consultants, Inc.
