1. Frank Harris Anson. Excerpt:
He attended the University of Minnesota and in 1882 entered the milling business with his father at Minneapolis. He soon turned his attention to railroads and became general freight and passenger agent for the Northern Pacific and then general agent for the Wisconsin Central in Minneapolis and St. Paul. After 1890, he re-entered the milling business and it was as manager of the foreign department of the Ogilvie Flour Mills that he came to Montreal. There, he became President of the Abitibi Power & Paper Company and did much to improve the town of Iroquois Falls in Ontario.

Abitibi Pulp and Paper Mills Ltd. was provincially incorporated on December 4, 1912, at Iroquois Falls, Ontario on the Abitibi River by Frank Harris Anson, who received initial financing from Shirley Ogilvie, heir to the Ogilvie Flour Mills fortune.
