1. Veghel Memorial Garden Marker
Inscription. This metal memorial and the original tulip bulbs were gifts of the citizens of Veghel (called "Vechel" in some historical accounts) in the Netherlands to show their continued gratitude to the 101st Airborne Division for liberating their city from Nazi control during Operation Market-Garden in September of 1944.
