Inscription.

Horses, cutters and sleighs crowd Main Street in front of the Flannigan Building at left. Flannigan's specialized in fresh seafood brought in from the east and drew diners from near and far. In 1963, it was torn down to create parking for the modern era shopper. A small lane, Bull Alley, between Flannigan's and the Grieve Building provided a path off Main Street. In 1966, the Grieve Building was also razed. A small block building was erected that housed Canandaigua Fishing Tackle but now is the home of the Chamber of Commerce.
