Excerpt (in translation): Born July 21, 1898 in Malo-les-Bains (today commune of Dunkirk, North), summarily executed on July 13, 1944 in Nantua; teacher ; director of the House of Indochina; resistance of the ORA (Organization of Resistance of the Army) and the secret army (AS).(Submitted on May 9, 2024.)
He joined the Resistance at the ORA (Army Resistance Organization) and the secret army (AS). He was a teaching staff member at the troop school in Clavières (Puy-de-Dôme) and went to the maquis in Ain with his group. He was captured and shot by the enemy with a machine gun burst in the head.
He obtained the words “Death for France” on his birth certificate and the Croix de Guerre, the Military Medal and the Resistance Medal posthumously.…
