1. The Styer & Evans Building Marker

Inscription. Built in 1929 by David H. Styer, it was the
home of his insurance business until 1956,
when it was purchased by his son-in-law,
J. Herbert Evans. The Evans family occupied
the 2nd floor until his death in 1965.
At that time, the building and agency
was sold to James E. Millen II. He continued
the insurance business under the name of
Styer & Evans and in 1985, sold the building to
his son, and present owner, James E. Millen III.
The Odd Fellows and the Eagles met
here from 1932 to 1956.
Construction of apartments and office
was completed by
Kunkle & Millen in 1989.
