- involved Giovanni Antonio Antolini, Giuseppe Soli and Lorenzo Santi; the latter worked only on the last phases & of the project, whilst Soli is to be credited with the façade overlooking St. Mark's Square. Within the central portico is a monumental staircase that now leads up to the Correr Museum, from which one can pass through into the National Archaeological Museum and the State Rooms of the Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana; visits to all three are included in the "Museums of St. Mark's Square" ticket.
