Excerpt: On March 12th, 1945 at Hofplein twenty men were shot as reprisal for the assault on an member of the Ordnungspolizei as well for(Submitted on May 16, 2024.)the liquidation of a German member of the SD and an Dutch assistant. 3. March 12, 1945 Hofplein Execution Memorial - Resistance Cross
In front of the cross is a silver-colored plaque by the City of Rotterdam indicating that the cross is made of bronze, was created by artist Huib Noorlander, and that it was dedicated on March 12, 1969.
