More about this memorial. There is a star next to two names on this marker. The two, Howard Lester Blake and Stanley Robert Hugunine, lost their lives during World War I. Howard Blake died of pneumonia at Camp Dix, New Jersey. Stanley Hugunine died in France after being wounded in the Battle of the Argonne Forest.
