Entre 1940 et 1944, des femmes et des hommes qui vivaient à Saint-Denis se sont engagés dans des mouvements de Résistance pour la libération de la France. Beaucoup ont été arrêtés, torturés, fusillés par le régime de l'Allemagne nazie, avec la complicité des autorités françaises du gouvernement de Vichy. Ici reposent vingt-quatre d'entre eux.

Le Conseil Municipal de Saint-Denis rend hommage à ces combattants de la liberté.

(English translation:)
Between 1940 and 1944, there were women and men who lived in Saint-Denis and were involved in Resistance movements for the liberation of France. Many were arrested, tortured, and shot by the regime of Nazi Germany, with the complicity of the French authorities of the Vichy government. Here lie twenty-four of them.

The Municipal Council of Saint-Denis pays tribute to these freedom fighters.
