3. Captain Robert Brown Marker
This article about the installation of the marker appeared in the Honolulu Advertiser, October 14, 1956. There are some historical inaccuracies (they met in Augusta, W.A. not Fremantle, he was only a 3rd mate then, they were married in Connecticut not on his ship, and they were already living in the islands when he lost the Black Warrior), but most of the article is true enough.
