More about this memorial. Displayed at the center of the memorial is a 1959 tablet in memorial to soldiers. The black stone with the inscription reprinted above flanked on either side by six benches with six military branches engraved (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and Merchant Marines). Leading up to the memorial on either side are markers listing the people responsible for erecting the memorial. On both sides of the memorial are gazebos.

The six stone benches that flank the veterans memorial are dedicated to the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard and Merchant Marines. The stones at the front of this photo are inscribed with the names of people responsible for erecting this memorial.
