Gary Roenicke spent eight of his 12 big league seasons with the Orioles. Part of heralded left-field platoon with John Lowenstein that helped Orioles to 1979 AL pennant and 1983 World Series title. Twice hit more than 20 home runs, including career-best 25 in 1979. Had at least 43 RBI five times despite splitting time with Lowenstein; they combined for 171 home runs and 574 RBI in seven years together with the Orioles. Best season came in 1982, setting career highs with .270 average and 74 RBI while hitting 21 homers. Despite platooning, ranks among club's top 25 in games played, home runs and slugging percentage.
