Gregg Olson saved 160 games in his six seasons with the Orioles, 55 more than any other pitcher. He had 25 or move saves in each of his five full seasons with the club no one else has done it more than two seasons. Olson was the American League Rookie of the Year in 1989. His 27 saves that year are tied for the 7th most ever by a rookie. He holds the club record with 41 consecutive scoreless innings over 29 appearances. He combined with three others on a no-hitter at Oakland on July 13, 1991, pitching the final inning. In 14 major league seasons, he played for 9 teams and earned 217 saves.
