This memorial was created by the Missouri Military Memorial Foundation, a group of Gold Star families and friends, and donated to Jefferson Barracks Park on May 27, 2017.
The three large granite memorial stars honor 154 Missouri Heroes who lost their lives while serving in theater during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom*

Gold Star Pavilion Groundbreaking September 4, 2014
The Gold Star Pavilion was gifted to Jefferson Barracks Park on May 9, 2015.
The 10 Heroes honored on the black granite benches represent the Missouri fallen who lost their lives during Desert Storm and Desert Shield.
Memorial Unveiling May 27, 2017
The 18 Heroes honored on the two side panels on each end of the mural recognize the Missouri fallen who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, Desert Storm and Desert Shield and lost their lives while in service.
