As a trainer for the Orioles from 1966 to 1988, Ralph Salvon worked on every player who ever wore a World Series ring for the Orioles, repairing or reducing numerous injuries. He also was part of the heart and soul of the team. "Ralphie" served as assistant trainer for two years after spending 10 years as a trainer in the Orioles farm system, and became head trainer in 1968. He was the senior trainer in the American League when he passed away at age 60.
