Hank Bauer managed the Orioles to their first A.L. pennant and World Series victory in 1966, after leading the club to within 2 games of the A.L. championship in 1964. Was elected Manager of the Year in both 1964 and 1966. As an outfielder for the New York Yankees, he played in 9 World Series.
