Inscription.
Mike Flanagan retired as the fourth winningest pitcher in Orioles history and he pitched for the Baltimore organization in 17 of his 20 professional seasons. He completed his career with a 167-143 record, 141-116 with the Orioles. In 1979 Mike captured the American League Cy Young Award as he led the Birds to the A.L. pennant with a 23-9 record. In addition, he was the last Oriole to throw a pitch at Memorial Stadium.
