Former Orioles owner Jerry Hoffberger represented the family which owned controlling interest in both the Orioles and the National Brewing Company from 1965 to 1979. Hoffberger served as the club's chairman of the board during that time and oversaw the transactions that led to the Orioles winning two World Series titles, five American League pennants and six A.L. Eastern Division crowns during his ownership.
