Rick Dempsey spent 10 full seasons and parts of two others in an Orioles uniform. Played in 1,245 games as an Oriole and averaged 102 starts per year. When he retired in 1992, his 24th major league season, he was one of three catchers in history to play in four decades joining Tim McCarver and Carlton Fisk. Was the Most Valuable Player of the 1983 World Series when the Orioles defeated the Philadelphia Phillies.
