Inscription.
Jack Dunn III joined the Orioles in their inaugural major league season in Baltimore in 1954, but his tenure began long before that. Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, who owned and managed the International League Orioles of the early 1900s, he moved up from the minor league team and served as traveling secretary, public relations director and assistant general manager before becoming vice president for business affairs in 1965. He was vice president of stadium operations at the time of his death in 1987.
