4. Babe Ruth's Birthplace

Ruth was born in this rowhouse, in the unit 2nd from left (Address # 216 over the door). The entire building is now a museum dedicated to Babe Ruth, with the museum entrance through the unit on the left corner. There were four units within this building, Ruth's family (specifically his maternal grandparents - his parents lived nearby) leased only one of the four.
