The Cradock community mourns with the families of the 2,996-people killed, and supports the 6,000 injured during the attacks of September 11, 2001. The Cradock community, along with the nation, endures financial crisis in 2008. The financial crisis is considered by many economists to have been the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression of the 1930’s.
