1. Schuilbunker / Air Raid Shelter Marker

Op de plaats van het huidige huisnummer 102 stond tot aan het einde van de jaren '50 van de vorige eeuw deze schuilbunker. Hij werd waarschijnlijk gebouwd in opdracht van overste Neumann van de Organisation Todt (OT), die in het huis links ernaast woonde. Dit type bunker is een typisch OT-ontwerp en was bedoeld voor opzichters van bouwprojecten, zodat die in het geval van een vijandelijke luchtaanval zichzelf in veiligheid konden brengen. Er zijn in Nederland twee exemplaren bekend. De andere stond in Culemborg.

(English translation:)
This air raid shelter stood on the site of the current house number 102 until the end of the 1950s. It was probably built on behalf of Commander Neumann of the Organization Todt (a German (Nazi) organization), who lived in the house to the left. This type of bunker is a typical OT design and was intended for supervisors of construction projects, so that they could get to safety in the event of an enemy air attack. Two copies are known in the Netherlands. The other was in Culemborg.
