Inscription.

Gulpen formed the junction of these 2 branches. A depot was built on this site, the garage for the trams. Due to disappointing results

(due to the economic crisis, high operating costs and the arrival of trucks and private bus services), the tram operation came to an end on April 5, 1938, after only 16 years. After this, the depot was put into use as a garage for the buses of the LTM, later the VSL and finally Hermes. The building gradually fell out of use and in 2007 the old depot was demolished. Afterwards, the Maasvallei Housing Foundation built this apartment complex there, which was called the Remise.
