Winter Garden
Seating 180 moviegoers, the Winter Garden offered serials like the Perils of Pauline which would run weekly for months drawing curious customers back for repeat visits. One other very popular movie was Ten Nights in a Barroom, one of the great temperance stories. Fifteen cents bought your admission to the center of entertainment.
After the Winter Garden closed, warehouses and auto repair shops occupied this space.
