Significant for its early Victorian architecture, most notably the attractive stone entryway. Also historically important as the home of Horace Wright, a member of an important cloth manufacturing family . Horace Wright also operated the Worthington sawmill on his property, providing important building materials for the community. Occupied by Wright family until 1940 when acquired by township as a war memorial.
