Excerpt from the Ohio Historic Inventory form:
Significant as the oldest of the early 19th century braced frame houses in Worthington in an excellent state of preservation. Built in 1818 for Demas Adams, who married one of James Kllbourn's (the founder of Worthington) daughters. Home in the 1850s of Rev. Uriah Heath, Methodist minister, who was one of the founders of the Worthington Female Seminary.
