Regarding Chapman-Hutchinson House. Excerpt from the Ohio Historic Inventory form on this property:
Constructed in stone with large cut stone quoins and smooth stone lintels, bracketed hipped roof. Greek Revival influence evident in recessed doorway with transom, sidelights, consoles and circular pilasters. Wooden porch and rear additions later.
Built c. 1850, it was owned by Albert Chapman in 1856. Said to have been home of Zenas Hutchinson, Dublin's first mayor.
