1. Boy Scout Tribute to Harry Brooks Marker
Inscription. Upper marker:
A tribute to the Boyscouts of Fordson who planted these trees and dedicated them to the public on Arbor Day — 1928 in memory of Harry Brooks who forfeited his life in the promotion of aviation on Feb. 25, 1928.

Lower marker:
Among historic aircraft displayed at Henry Ford Museum are the Flivver and Tri-Motor built by Henry Ford and flown by his friend and test pilot Harry Brooks. On the Arbor Day following his death in 1928, Brooks was honored by Fordson (now Dearborn) Boy Scouts in tree planting ceremonies at the Dearborn City Hall. The marker commemorating this occasion was presented by the city to Greenfield Village May 22, 1964, during Michigan Week.
