Regarding Erwin W. Schueller House. Excerpts from the Ohio Historic Inventory form on the house:
At the time the Schueller House was built in 1909, E. Broad St. was a tree-lined boulevard and one of the most fashionable residential streets in Columbus.
The Schueller House is a fine example of a turn-of-the-century house found along E. Broad St. Its square plan, irregular massing and roofline, projecting front bays and hip roof with dormers reflect the Queen Anne style.
The house was built for Dr. Erwin W. Schueller, a physician who lived in the house until his death in 1924. His wife Sara continued to live in the house until the mid- 1940s. At that time the property was converted for use as offices.
