Frankenmuth in Saginaw County, Michigan — The American Midwest (Great Lakes)
Safe in Our Father's Arms
210 S Main St | Frankenmuth, MI
The sculpture, by artist Gary Gavit, depicting a father with his children, was created entirely from parts salvaged from the safe door removed during the 2019-2020 renovation of this building.
The pieces in this sculpture were once used to keep your money safe as a bank, later used to keep your property safe as an insurance company, and now are reminding us that our life is eternally safe in our Father's arms as we hold fast to Jesus.
1965 | The building was constructed for Frankenmuth State Bank.
1979 | An expansion took place as part of Frankenmuth State Bank and Trust.
2000 | Frankenmuth Mutual Insurance renovated the building as their claims office.
2019 | Frankenmuth Bible Church transformed the building to become their new place of worship.
Erected 2020 by Frankenmuth Bible Church.
