1. Historic German Village Marker
Inscription. Robert H. Wacker, a bookkeeper and grocer, bought the property in 1892 from John Schueller. Wacker built the house approximately 10 years later and lived here with his wife, Pauline, and daughter, Alma. Alma inherited the house and sold it to Fred and Carrie Lang in 1920. Fred Lang was President of The Louis Lang Company, Cleaners and Dyers. The home was owned by members of the Lang family until 1975.
