101 Airbome Division (AASLT) OIF 05-07
In its first deployment in its new modular role, the Sustainment Brigade deployed to Iraq in 2007. The Brigade provided direct sustainment support to "Task Force Band of Brothers," a multinational Task Force commanded by the headquarters of the 101st Airborne Division, Combined Task Force 101, CJTF-101.

101 Airborne Division (AASLT): OEF 10-12
The Sustainment Brigade made multiple deployments to Afghanistan in the Global War on Terror. It deployed to Afghanistan in 2008 to support the Joint Logistics Command. In this role, the Brigade provided sustainment support to 55,000 US and coalition Soldiers deployed throughout Afghanistan. The Brigade deployed again in 2010-2011 and in 2013-2014, supporting US and coalition forces spread over a vast geographic area. Its unique Airborne and Air Assault capabilities provided the right skills to deliver thousands of tons of supplies and support services by both parachute heavy drop and helicopter sling load across austere country.

Development (USAID). The mission of USAID was to mitigate and eradicate the spread of the deadly Ebola virus in Liberia, Africa. The Brigade supported multiple medical and engineer units working from newly constructed testing and treatment facilities throughout the country.
