Edmonds in Snohomish County, Washington — The American West (Northwest)
Edmonds Auto Company
The state of the art Chevron service station was completed in 1947. It was described in the Tribune Review (5/29/47) as "one of the most modern and complete in this area" with new equipment worth $6,000, including both car and truck hoists, ample space for off-the-street servicing of cars, and restrooms.
This part of the downtown was a growing hub for services with the garage, service stations, the bus barn on the level above the gas station, and the lumber store across the street.
