Inscription. Since the birth of the United States of America on July 4, 1776, no single generation of Americans has been spared the responsibility of defending freedom by force of arms. More than 42 million American men and women have served in time of war... more than a million have purchased freedom with their lives. Every one of us - in America, in Europe and throughout the free world - owe an eternal debt to the soldiers who fought and died to safeguard our freedom and liberties. We can repay that debt only by remembering, and by doing all within our own power to safeguard our freedoms for generations yet to come. Freedom is indivisible, intangible and inexplicable. Freedom is the right to choose, to question and change the established way of doing things. Without the possibility of choice and the exercise of choice, a human is not human, but rather a member, an instrument, a thing, This park, dedicated to that Freedom was made possible with a grant from HQ AFMC Year of the Family and the untiring efforts of the: 78th Civil Engineering Group, City of Warner Robins, Flint Energies, J&B Contracting, Sales Force, Inc., Middle Georgia Technical College, and Museum Staff and Volunteers. Enjoy it and remember Freedom is not free.
