Regarding Elias Vickers House. Excerpt from the National Register nomination for the Springboro Historic District, which includes this property:
South Street marked the southern edge of the village in Jonathan Wright's original plat, but remained the southern boundary only until 1818 when Mill Street was platted. Two properties on East South Street are included in the district. The Elias Vickers house is located at 60 E. South Street. Built c. 1835-45, this frame residence is two and-one-half stories with a three-bay facade and central cross gable.
