1. Old City Marker

Inscription. Tucked in between Independence National Historic park and the waterfront, the Old City neighborhood is home to many historic attractions, including the Betsy Ross House, Elfreth's Alley, Franklin Court, and Carpenters' Hall. Old city also boasts some of Philadelphia's most unique modern attractions. Many of its venerable factories have been converted into attractive and unusual living and commercial spaces. This nightlife here is hip and hopping, with trendy shops and restaurants around every corner.
