1. Mayfair Marker

Inscription. Mayfair is a neighborhood located in the Lower Northeast section of Philadelphia, centered on the intersection of Cottman and Frankford Avenues. It is home to one of the largest Irish American populations in the area. It is also the birthplace of another one of Philly's staples, the Original Chickie's & Pete's, brought to life in 1977 on the corner of Robbins & Frankford Avenues when Peter and Henrietta (Chickie) Ciarrocchi bought the taproom. Today it is home to the world famous Crabfries, dedicated sports fans and gloriously messy & bread dippin' good crabs.
