Inscription.
Prescott's military heritage from its earliest days during the War of 1812 is symbolized by this reproduction of a late 18^th/early 19^th century cannon. Several sleigh mounted cannons were used during the historic raid on neighbouring Ogdensburg, New York on February 22, 1813.
