Moses Stacy Homestead
In 1835, Moses Stacy brought his family from upstate New York and built his first home, a log cabin, on this site. In 1893, his son Philo sold the family-run Stacy's Tavern Inn & Stagecoach Stop, returned to this site and built the Victorian Mansion which stands today behind this lot at 677 Highland Avenue.
