Crow Corner
Around 1890s the Crow Dynasty, James L. Crow & Son, took possession of the corner and constructed a brick building which was used as a grocery store for many years. Later in years, George Crow (son of James) added an innovative feature to the business. He operated a peanut roaster on the sidewalk which offered something new to the customers.
Copenhaver Jewelers operated a successful business here from the 1940s until 1987.
