Inscription.

In 1835, Moses Stacy brought his family from upstate New York and built his first home, a log cabin, on this site. In 1893, his son Philo sold the family-run Stacy's Tavern Inn & Stagecoach Stop, returned to this site and built this Victorian Mansion which previously stood behind this lot at 678 Main Street.
