مئذنة بن يوسف
مئذنة مسجد بن يوسف منذنة جميلة وهي مشرفة بكل ثقلها علروية المدينة في الزاوية الشمالية الغربية من المسجد الارتفاع 64 ذراع اي 35 مترا التقريب والعرض 17 ذراعا، أي 9 أمتار ونصف تقريبا وبمك خانمها 3 اذري أي شر واحد وانا سم تقريبا، ويطوها يصل إلى أربعين مترا دون احتساب الجامور وقد بنيت المئذنة من الحجر الين وقد بنيت على مرحلتين، وفرغ منها فرينة 527هـ يذكر ان اعادة بناء مسجد ابن يوسف قد محت اغلب آثار المسجد الأول الذي بناه عرين يويف المرايضي

Minaret de Ben Youssef
Le minaret de la mosquée Ben Youssef est un beau minaret, il surplombe le centre-ville dans le coin nord-ouest de la mosquée. La hauteur est de 64 coudées, soit environ 35 mètres, et la largeur est de 17 coudées, soit environ 9 mètres et demi, et son mur est de 3 coudées d'épaisseur, soit environ un mètre et 64 centimètres. Sa hauteur atteint une quarantaine de mètres sans compter la partie supérieure. Le minaret a été construit en pierre de guéliz. Il a été construit en deux phases et finalisé en l'an 527 AH. La reconstruction de la mosquée Ibn Youssef a effacé la plupart des traces de la première mosquée construite par All ben Youssef Almoravide.

Minaret of Ben Youssef
The minaret of the Ben youssef Mosque is a beautiful minaret, and it overlooks the city center in the northwest corner of the mosque. The height is 64 cubits, or about 35 meters, and the width is 17 cubits, or about 9 and a half meters, and its wall is 3 cubits thick, or about one meter and 64 centimeters. Its height reaches forty meters without counting the end ornament. The minaret was built of gueliz stone. It was built in two phases, and was completed in the year 527 AH. The reconstruction of the Ibn Youssef Mosque erased most of the traces of the first mosque built by Ali ben Youssef Almorivid.

Even though the minaret is 35 m in height it can be hard to see due to the high walls of the mosque. A portion is visible above the mosque seen from the plaza.
