1. Church of St. Charles Oratory in Presbytery Marker
Inscription. The private chapel in the pastor's residence for celebrating daily mass while using Red Church only on Sunday. It was during this time in Father's tenure at St. Charles that he was planning a chapel to be located on a plot of ground directly across the Mississippi River but as near to Red Church as possible. The majority of his parishioners were reported to live across the river.
