This airplane was restored and donated to Michigan's Own, Inc.
by
Mr. Maurice Hovious of Hov-Air, Inc. of Vicksburg, Michigan.

It was placed on this site on July 29, 1998, as a tribute to Michigan's two Korean War "Aces": Captain Cecil Foster of Midland and Captain Iven Kincheloe of Cassopolis, and for all Korean War Veterans by Museum Director Stanley J. Bozich with grants from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs, Frankenmuth American Legion Post 150, Frankenmuth V.F.W. Post 2725 and McNally-Nimergood of Bridgeport, Michigan.
