Inscription. In his postseason debut, Roy Halladay became the second pitcher in MLB history to throw a no-hitter in the playoffs, propelling the Phillies to a 4-0 win over Cincinnati in Game 1 of the NLDS. Additionally, he became the first pitcher to toss a no-hitter in the regular season and postseason in the same year.
