This "Bensenville Memorial Fountain" is dedicated on this eleventh day of September, 2002 to all the fire fighters, police officers, EMS personnel, first responders and civilians throughout the world who perish every day in the act of helping others through their public service to provide safer communities in which to live our lives

More about this marker. The plaque and bell remain, but the fountain they are commemorating was removed in 2016 and replaced with a firefighter statue, which is a few yards away and has its own plaque.

3. Bensenville Fire Department 9/11 Memorial
The plaque and bell for the 2002 memorial fountain still remain, but the fountain itself was replaced by the 2016 firefighter statue in the rear of the photo.
