1. Roadrunner Emporium Marker

Inscription. 928 New York Avenue 2020 to present. Circa 1900, contained within, is one of New York Avenues original structures and home to the first bank in Otero County, the Alamogordo First National Bank which operated till the late 1920's. The back half of the building was Alamogordo's first library built by the Alamogordo Womens Club in 1905. Inside are historic restored bank vaults, photographs and other artifacts from the grand opening date of February 1900. The building hosted the Masonic Lodge till 1940's.

Since the 1940s the building has hosted a variety of retailers and galleries.
